Recently updated, these sites are all the same now, but for devotees
of the sand they are of interest, if nothing else, in order to catch
up on the latest from Arena Leisure, currently the operator of every
All-Weather courses.
The first new track, never mind all-weather track, in the UK for many years. Currently being built, the web site has some spanky graphics and basic information about the amenities. We await the start date at the start of 2007 with bated breath.

Interesting privately run site which specialises in both horseracing and football. Good systems section and the usual bookmaker links, but the primary area for many will probably be the Horse Racing prediction game in which you can win cash prizes. Worth a look
PunterProfits is an online betting journal. The journal itself contains many articles and private research into horse racing systems, betting, staking and different angles on profitable betting. This is a subscription service, but there are plenty of free items and information which make it a site to consider.

Despite the Australian bias this is a site really worth a visit, for the mass of wagering and calculation tools - calculate the viability of betting, the amount to bet and the methods available to calculate profitability.
Site dedicated to jockeys, with links to a number of jockey sites, jockey info and features. There is also some associated services like a bookshop and videos to buy as well as many other jockey related goodies.
A good all round site for news and views run by GGMedia, who own a number of racecourses. Nevertheless, there are some good writers and general racing comment which makes it worth a visit now and again.
The one and only, now charging, but THE place for everything which is Racing. The inclusion of the Betsmart and other bookmakers makes it a little more commercial, but you cannot beat it for the sheer level of race information content. The recent revision to enhance the breeding content was welcome, but it has lost much of its appeal for up to the minute breaking news.
Information and links site dedicated to the highlight of the jumping season. As well as prices on the races, there are commentaries on the course and every race at the meeting, as well as an introduction to form reading and analysis for the uninitiated. Will be worth a look in the run up to the meeting.
Friendly, privately run racing site with all manner of interesting and involving content. The tipster competition is of particular interest. Updated regularly, with copious links pages, forum, chat and reports. They also provide an email newsletter

races do not make it to the archive in the same season - but still

The best all round link site for UK racing information. They personally visit and reviewed all the sites that are listed. With an independent description of each site, they tend to remove all the "everyone's a winner" hype stuff that many tipping sites peddle. If there is something they don't like about a site, they tend to be blunt about it. Links are divided into sub categories to speed your search.
Betting Directory
A good horse racing links site with plenty of sections to choose from. All the links are authored by the site themselves and they appear to find some quirky sites of interest as well as the well known ones.
Links site with more than average categories and very clean and precise layout. Interesting as a starting point for further search and particularly likeable links page of sites they find interesting. Well worth a surf.
Consuming links site with numerous areas and sections to get lost within. Is updated on a regular basis with current sporting events and where to get the best value bets and offers within each sport - well worth viewing if you're looking for that first wager on Football or Rugby.

Updated very frequently and worth registering for the periodic newsletter that holds plenty of up to date info on where to get the best value for your betting buck.
