Private Service
1. What makes Sandform
Private Service different to other tipping
services?
We
are not attempting to be all things to all men. We occupy a niche
which we feel has not been exploited, and we intend to fully occupy this
area! We are also independent, which allows us to view and
describe races, ratings and industry events without being prejudiced by
being part of a racing conglomerate.
We
also benefit from spending all our effort within the All-Weather code of
racing - we are constantly re-evaluating and improving our accuracy of
information. Unlike many, we do not operate multiple, 'set'
databases, which are cumbersome and geared to 'getting the numbers
done', instead we have fluid data sets which allow us to evaluate each
days figures prior to adding them to our service.
Our philosophy is very different to other information services - we are
highly selective and cautious and will never produce a selection for
a race because we feel 'we have to'. By adopting this approach
we hope to gain a loyal following of like-minded racing enthusiasts.
We also adopt a very different was of charging for our information -
adopting a 'trust' approach. Once you have made profit, we ask for
a payment and not before.
2. What does the
Private Service actually give me?
We provide 1-5 bets per week during the heart of the All-Weather season.
We also provide tips during the summer as well. We will advise the
horse(s), the stake. The information is posted to the website and
also emailed to you as soon as it is posted.
3. At what time is the
Private Service information posted to the site?
Our Information is posted to the website
before 12.00 noon the day of the race, or 4.00pm for a night meeting.
4.
What comeback do I have if I don't like the service?
Prior to paying the joining fee, either on-line or by cheque, we strongly
recommend spending time looking at our services section of this
free-to-view area. This suite of examples give a good flavour of
what you will find in our members area.
Because you only pay us if you make profit
from our selections, ultimately if you don't make a profit you can then
walk away. It is therefore in our interest to continue to supply
you with good value winners.
5.
What track record do you have?
We launched a basic ratings service in March 2001. From there, we
continued to enhance the service throughout the 2001-2002 season. During
the summer of 2002 we launched a completely new set of services which
built upon the basic ratings service, but increased the depth of form
and analysis tenfold. Our ratings and analysis service continued
until November 2006.
The new Private Service information service launched in early 2007.
6. Why should I trust the Sandform?
We stand and fall by the accuracy and integrity of our ratings and
associated information. If
they do not deliver winners we will fail, so we spend over 90% of our
resources on the ratings and associated services rather than other web authoring. Hence, we
do not have a flash enabled, graphic heavy site which looks and feels
fabulous but which is a sham.
Neither would we pretend to have all the answers. Being a
successful horseplayer means you have to be willing to learn every day,
however, because the team spends all of its time in the All-Weather
arena, we believe we provide the best insight into the code on-line or
off-line.
7.
What are your Private Service prices?
To
see our current prices view our Private Service costs
page. You will find that the only immediate cost is a joining
fee. What commission you pay thereafter solely depends on whether
we deliver you with a profit over time.
Dutching
1.
What are your Dutching Service prices?
To
see our current prices view our Dutching Service pricing
page. You will find that there is a simple monthly
subscription. If you no longer want to continue with your
subscription you simply cancel your payment through Paypal.
2. How do I sign up and
how am I charged each month?
To sign up is easy - just fill in the subscription information
here and then you will gain immediate access to our daily dutches.
You are charged on the monthly anniversary of initial sign-up.
Therefore if you signed up on the 20th, your next subscription payment
becomes due on the 20th of the month after.
3.
What comeback do I have if I don't like the service?
Prior to paying for your initial months
subscription, we strongly
recommend spending time looking at our services section of this
free-to-view area. This suite of examples give a good flavour of
what you will find in our members area.
Ultimately if you don't make a profit you
can then walk away. It is therefore in our interest to continue to
supply you with good value dutching winners.
4.
What track record do you have?
We have been providing Dutching bets to our Private service clients
since January 2007. The service was split off as a separate
service in November 2007 because it was delivering such high returns to
our client base.
5.
How do I renew my subscription each month?
Your subscription is via Paypal recurring
billing, so you will never miss a days action. If you wish to halt
the service you simply login to your Paypal account and cancel the
subscription.
6. How do I get the dutching information?
Because there is a lot of information
associated with each dutch you will need to login to the Sandform
website each day to receive the dutching information.
7. What if I don't get the right odds?
We provide recommended odds at which to strike your dutch. If you
can't get the odds we stipulate you can recalculate the dutch to the
prices available. To do this we provide a dutching calculator.
Ultimately if you are unhappy with the dutch of the prices available
(and therefore the percentage profit) you may decide not to play the
dutch.
We make every effort to ensure that the odds we stipulate are achievable.
8. This is too complicated for me - how do I get help?
We are available to discuss your use of
the Dutching service by both email and telephone. Call our
helpdesk above, or contact us and we
will usually return your query answered within 24 hours.
General Questions
1. What service levels do Sandform provide?
Our Private information service is provided for every All-Weather race
meeting in the UK. The racing information is published prior to
12.00 noon on the day of racing, although usually they
will be published on the site from 9.00am the day before racing. This also
applies to night racing cards at Wolverhampton.
Our Dutching service provides information which is always posted before
7-00am the morning of each race day.
If a member provides feedback to the Sandform team, we guarantee to
answer the feedback with a personal response. We endeavour to
answer all queries within 24 hours of receiving the email, although many
are answered within a few hours. The one exception to this is
Saturday, where dual afternoon and evening meetings may contribute a delay in
response.
2.
Do you provide information for every All-Weather race?
No,
we
aim to provide you with a service on which you can rely, however, to do that
you have to be very selective - no gambler has ever made his fortune
by backing a horse in every race, at every race meeting, every day!
We highlight races where value exists either for a winning bet or from
a dutching perspective.
We also highlight were betting caution should be observed.
3.
How do I gain access to the services?
We have a secure area for our members, which is why a username/password
page appears when you attempt to log in to the members area (try it out!).
This requires you
to subscribe in order to give the system the information it needs to let
you into the secure area. Please note, sometimes you
browser will 'remember' the wrong username or password. If you are
having difficulties, please click here for helpful information.
4. When is the information posted every day?
Please see question 1
5.
Is Sandform ever unavailable?
To our knowledge, since moving to a high quality hosted platform in
2001, we have had no serious downtime. If it does happen, our service
levels with the hosting company ensure we will be operational again
within 24 hours.
6.
Why only the All-Weather?
The
All-Weather is in our opinion a vastly underrated betting opportunity.
The primary reason for concentrating on
the All-Weather is the quality of the statistics which are available to
be collated. Most races on the All-Weather are true-run (although
being able to find those that won't be is just as important), and with a
predictable surface the sectional and overall times are more reliable
than the turf courses. There is also a strong set of analysis that
suggests that certain horses adapt to the All-Weather (handling sand,
kickback and a true run race) - these horses can represent value.
We have also found that concentrating resources in one sphere of racing
has provided profitable results!
